I support the Palmer Community Foundation because Palmer is home. My husband and I moved here in 1974, for one year. However, the generous community spirit, awesome beauty, and opportunities kept us here. As an educator at Palmer High School and in the District for over 25 years, I developed connections to thousands of families. Therefore, when the time came to donate my time to the future by becoming an advisory board member of the Palmer Community Foundation (PCF), I jumped in.
I support PCF because the growing endowment will help to secure the greater Palmer area’s health. Through the generous support of the people who love this area, the Foundation can serve as a model of our faith and hope in the future. I support PCF because I want all families to enjoy the gifts that the Palmer area offers.
